Tso Chinese Takeout & Delivery

We've been ordering from Tso for Christmas Eve dinner for more years than I can remember and they never fail to disappoint. I'm thrilled that they've added Bang Bang Shrimp to the regular menu. Another recent edition is smaller sized bowls. Not just for holidays - with two working parents and kids' schedules packed with extracurricular activities, a reliable dinner delivery is a sanity saver. Consistently good. Delivery can be slow on busy nights, but plan ahead and you won't be disappointed. When in doubt, we almost always go with Tso for a dinner that pleases the whole family.

I ordered takeout through an app, and omg. TASTY, TASTY, TASTY! It was sooooo good. The bang bang shrimp had me melting. The sauce is outstanding.

We were utterly amazed by the quality of or takeout dinner order in Houston! Surpasses PF Changs and other high end restaurants for about half the price. Gosh I wish that we had taken pictures. We ate our meal in the lobby of our hotel, the nearby Marriott.
We had recommended dishes:
BBQ pork fried rice with big tender juicy pieces of pork, Chinese broccoli in garlic wine, and beef pad Thai. So so good!
We placed our order by phone and my husband left to pick up the order - 5 minutes away. He couldn't believe what a tiny place it was, but king and clean with chefs presumably at each station because our order was ready when he arrived!
The food was fragrant and still piping hot and so fresh. It's probably the #1 reason I'd return to Houston! Of course, our clients are up there as another reason, lol.
My only question is do they deliver to central Floria? we need them here!

I've lost count the number of times my household has ordered from Tso's, so clearly this review is long overdue!

Tso's is our go to whenever we don't want to drive anywhere and need our takeout fix, or whenever we have company over and want food we know that will consistently be delicious and quick to arrive. Delivery has always been prompt, no delivery charge and no tipping policy (which they must pay their drivers well to maintain this), food is always consistently great and portion sizes are typically large enough for leftovers. Our favorites have always been the drunken beef noodles, combination fried rice, and the rangoons. Seriously, those rangoons are yummy.

Far far better than Panda Express, and free delivery at your door? What is there not to love?! Support Tso's and order from them ASAP!

Love the tsOMG wings! Solid food for the rest. And the no delivery fee is a big plus.

The delivery fee is built into the price of the food. You don't save money by picking up. If you made the dumb mistake I did and try to drive to this place to save a few bucks, A. you're not saving money and B. it's almost impossible to find. It's next to Mattress Firm and Concentra Urgent Care.
My favorite items on the menu are the crab rangoons and pork fried rice.
The food is salty and satisfying. It is quite oily and American Chinese style. It's nice to see that they have added new items like mapo tofu and Chinese broccoli. Maybe I'll try those next time. The price is a bit high but I think the ingredients are quality and I like that they pay their drivers a flat rate and eliminate tipping. It's also addictively easy to order online and pay with Apple Pay!

After so much barbecue I was so excited to try my favorite cuisine. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed with the food.

I ordered delivery and they were very fast and friendly.
I will also note that the blue crab Rangoon's were delicious. However, the orange chicken was hard and not very tasty. I was conflicted with the drunken beef noodles because the beef had a lot of fat on it and it was crunchy, but noodles were really good, they were fantastic.

I would say they definitely need to work on their meat, but other than that they place was okay.

Got delivery here twice.

They have the best crab cheese wontons I've ever had.

There noodle sides 3.5/5 (fiancé says 4.5/5 because he likes no veggies and onions)
There side of fried rice tastes almost exactly how I make mine with fewer veggies 4.5/5
Sesame chicken 5/5 amazing quality chicken pieces and sauce is perfect.
Orange Chicken 3.5/5 more actual orange flavor than I'm used to so it's a little to tart but still good. Amazing quality chicken.
Pan fried dumplings 4.5/5 so good and crispy and the sauce is perfectly garlicky.

Sometimes the delivery wait is long but everything comes out perfectly and the stress of not pre tipping or finding cash to tip the driver is nice.

I respect the business model and this will be our Chinese American food place from here on out. We love it and think it's worth the money for quality, taste, and convenience. Also I like that they ethically pay their employees.

They do not do very many customizations though so be aware of that!

After 10+ visits since my first five star review, I wanted to give an update. (The drunken noodles brainwashed me yet again)

Tso's still rocks!!!
The food is delicious
The drivers are quick and friendly
And they still have a no tipping policy (It's nice knowing you don't have to worry about what is the 'right' amount :) !)

My wife ordered from this place for the first time online. As all the other reviewers point out, this is a pick up and to go outfit.
So she brings it home, I lay it all out on the table and it looks very good. So I start in on the beef and broccoli, and the carrots and broccoli are virtually raw and uncooked. I don't mind al dente, but they were just plain raw. The hot and sour soup and the fried egg rolls were OK, but not at all memorable. The same could be said about the potstickers. Overall the meal was somewhat decent, but for a $50 price tag, it really should've been better, so I don't think we'll be back.
