****most the the reviews below mine are given from patients that received a Starbucks gift card.

I want to share my experience publicly: I took my son to Wildflower as a referral from Dr. Bains whom is awesome.
Everything went great, they took our insurances we paid the balance and full and it was amazing.

Then I changed jobs, and the new company's insurances was not accepted. Which then created a underpayment which is understandable for my son. They discussed with me and came up with a plan.

For my Husband whom when in as a new patient, on day 1 they had him sign a contract at which he did not realized they did not take the insurance. They never told him "you are not in network" "we don't take your insurance". I called back 1 hour after he got home and told them he was not moving forward because we are not in network they decided that they would proceed by ordering Invisalign charging his credit card and continuing on. So basically Wildflower stole form his credit card on file the next day. Even after he told them he wanted to initially call them when he got home and put it on a rewards card.

Then even after speaking about my son's underpayment and explaining to the Tera the staff member, since Wildflower does not take insurance and my husband was not going to continue services. They still continued to proceed ordering Invisalign. Next I received a call confirming his pick up of Invisalign which I explained for the third time that we did not want to move forward.

I tried to talk with them and review this all today at no point did she own up to any mistakes. We realized they still charged 1500 for a service that was never rendered, at no time did she take any responsibly for non services or taking a un authorized payment

Also to mention, last time my son was at the office the techs were arguing, about who would take him because it was Friday and they wanted to go home. In addition they were arguing about barrowing safety googles. This has been the worst experience of my life in a dental office.

      Things to Note at Wildflower:
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CC ON FILE WITH THIS OFFICE !

CONFIRM THEY TAKE YOUR INSURANCE IF NOT, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

DO NOT BOOK ON A FRIDAY OR LATE AFTERNOON BECAUSE YOU WILL SEE CAT FIGHTING.

I met Tara Harper at Wild Flower Orthodontics last week for a consultation regarding Invisalign. Tara was amazing. She had detailed answers for every question I had, and I ran her through the gambit for sure! She spent a good deal of time with me without ever once making me feel pressured or like I was an inconvenience for taking so much time. I really appreciated her friendly demeanor and her honest, relevant and empathetic recommendations. The rest of the team I interacted with were all very friendly and professional as well. If you need an orthodontic specialist in round Rock, look no further than Wildflower. This place rocks.

So my 7 year old need to see an ortho. I'm a mom and I'm thinking "braces???!" I remember the pain and I was so scared for my child. Then I see a few orthos and they all wanted to put in a palate expander. Google the thing. At first it's scary and you don't know what to do. I saw 4 different orthos and they all had 4 different opinions. One said that she didn't need anything while the other three said that she did. (I feel Like trident gum commercial here lol)
Anyway, we decided to get the opinion at Wildflower ortho and they suggested Invisalign for kids. It's less invasive and less painful for my child. The whole process was easy and painless and cheaper! My daughter for her scans and pictures done and about a month later she's got her retainers in and she's ok. So far she likes it and is comfortable putting them in and out. I'm really thankful we chose Wildflower!

We've been going to wildflower orthodontics for over 2 years and love this dr and his staff. They always make everyone feel welcome & were very organized during quarantine & lock down. You pull up, text the number & they text you when they're ready for you to come in. The wait times have never been long.

My son just got his braces on yesterday and I have to praise the staff and Dr. G already. We have had nothing but a pleasant experience from our consultation to my rescheduling needs to starting our treatment. I have honestly never met such a nice office staff. Tara and Krysten were extremely sweet, knowledgable and patient with answering my many questions. I felt like I didn't have much to ask Dr. G by the time we met with him because of them, honestly. Dr. G was very thorough in explaining the various treatments that my son needed and I felt like I had many options rather than just being forced into an expensive, unnecessary treatment. I also appreciated him speaking directly with my son as well, making sure he knew what to expect and was comfortable.

While my son was super excited to start his treatment, the fear set in on the drive there and continued when we started our appointment. However, Cindy was great, talking my son through what she was doing and successfully calming his nerves. The process was better than expected and my son even schooled me later that evening, telling me the proper way to clean his braces as Cindy had shown him.

Thank you for such a wonderful experience thus far, Dr. Giasi and staff!

What an incredible experience. Dr G and his staff are far superior to any health provider I have encountered. Ever. Excellent staff. Excellent process. Excellent technology. Miranda and Kristin provided seamless scheduling and intake info, none of which had to be repeated -- all intake info and data, even from the initial phone call, was transferred precisely into our records and fully comprehended by all staff. We had a complicated matter, which with all other providers we as parents wind up repeating again and again; but not here. Tara did an incredible job with explaining everything to both me and my 11 year old son, to a level we both understood and both our different concerns were alleviated through data and patience in explanation. Tara took the time to understand our concerns first and precisely addressed our concerns. Dr G did the same, and has given us a very clear pathway to resolve our issues. Their technology made it very easy to see the xrays displayed on large flatscreen and answer all questions by pointing out each concern clearly to us. Tara and Dr G both gave more time than other providers--they are not on a "timer" per patient. They are on a "give best service" per patient. Amazing, given our overall healthcare system and the reality of health providers' economics. All records and xrays were emailed immediately.

Oh, btw, this was an initial consult.

      At no charge.

I had orthodontics as a teen and young adult but lost my retainer about 15 years ago (I'm 36 now). My teeth started to shift over the years, especially the bottom ones, and so I knew I had to do something to remedy it because it was getting progressively worse. [If you've already done your research and just want to know why I chose Wildflower, skip to last paragraph.]
I went to a few dentists and orthodontists to get some estimates and evaluations. One dentist (who happens to be quite good for general dentistry) said they could do Invisalign and treatment would be for a year. Another orthodontist never called back to let me know their proposal. A few others I called did not use the Damon System of braces and wires but instead used the traditional ones. I went to Wildflower Orthodontics and they took their time with me and went through all the options with me.
So I did my research and found out a few things along the way from everyone. An orthodontists is a specialist who has undergone special training in a dental school or college after they have graduated in dentistry (Wikipedia). While I think it's fine if a general dentist offers Invisalign, I want the best and someone who specializes in what they do. What if there are complications? You'd probably get referred to an orthodontist to fix it. A general dentist has so many emergencies and complications, what if I need to get in because of my orthodontia? Would they be able to accommodate me or would root canals be a higher priority? These are all things I asked myself and I'm glad I did because I think I made a thoughtful and practical decision to choose Wildflower.
The other factor that played a part was the Damon System. Let me just tell you that after experiencing traditional wires and brackets that had tiny little rubber bands around each bracket, the Damon System was far easier on me and my visits. When it came to change out my wires at my ortho visits, it was so quick because it's a little gate on each bracket that holds the wire in place...and no, they never opened up on me unintentionally. I remember when I was young how the traditional braces would have those little rubber bands fall off and having to go in to get it fixed. It didn't happen a whole lot but it did happen. The Damon braces seemed to me to be more clean because there was less places for food particles to get stuck and also just looked nicer. I also learned that the Damon braces can apply force in more directions than traditional braces or Invisalign. When my 5-year-old son gets braces, I will insist on these braces without a doubt based on my experience with both.
Why not Invisalign? I just didn't want to be tempted to not use my trays as they call them. I've seen people take them off at meals at restaurants and it just didn't look very hygienic. Plus, I thought I'd run the risk of losing them. I also didn't want it to affect my speech, as I've heard people with them on have their speech affected. I have heard they are less expensive and many general dentists offer them but I wanted a tried and true method from an expert who specializes in aligning teeth.
Why Wildflower Orthodontics vs. other options? They were so professional with me and courteous. They took the time to not only take x-rays during my consultation but they also took pictures of my teeth. No other place did that (take pictures). They were very transparent with their cost and options for billing. I thought their price was fair but more than anything, they have the expertise. Of all the other places I visited or called during my scouting, they were the ONLY ones to follow up.
My whole treatment experience there was great. They were always punctual in taking me in for my appointment. Dr. Giasi and Kristyn always listened to my concerns during the treatment and implemented my requests. Everyone in the office was respectful and courteous. This one time, I had a wire that was irritating my cheek and they quickly accommodated me the next day. 2 years later, my teeth are perfect again!

I've had my 3 girls coming here for over 5 years. Staff is great. Kristyn is one of the nicest people I've met in the medical business. You speak with Dr. Giasi every so often. You'll interact more with his staff than him. No problem. Except when you actually speak to him and he treats you like a stranger who hasn't given him any business even though I've spent over 15k here. My daughter had her braces removed today. She went back on her own while I waited in the waiting room. Staff came out and asked me to sign the consent to have her braces removed because Dr. Giasi believed she was ready. He's the expert so of course I gave my consent to go ahead. When removed I went back to check on her I Noticed there was a pretty big gap on one side of her mouth when she would bite down. I asked a simple question "is it expected for her to have that big of a gap". The staff took the pics to Dr. Giasi and he came out outraged. His first words out of his mouth were " you signed the consent to have them removed did you not"? To say I was shocked was the very least. I could not believe what he just said. I said in a very calm voice, I did but I was just wondering about the gap. Me expecting him to give some sort of explanation about her jaw or that everything was aligned and there couldn't have been further treatment to fix it, something!!! Something other than what he said. I'm sorry, but I'm not the expert here. I wasn't aware that I was suppose to do a full inspection on my daughters mouth and give an expert opinion if they should be removed or not. I trusted his expert opinion. That's what I've paid him for. After he repeatedly said that I signed the consent, he then went on to blame my daughter's dental hygiene. I'm sorry, was it her hygiene or your expert opinion that she no longer needed them? I'm so disappointed in you Dr. Giasi. I guess your business grew and you decided that you no longer needed to appreciate and respect your older clients because what does one person matter right? You already have my hard earned money, so what does it matter? Take a step back to reality and humble yourself Dr. Giasi.

I highly do not recommend this clinic if you need a new retainer. Prices for retainers are lower than in other clinics. Unfortunately, now I know why prices are lower. On the first appointment, they made a mold. When I came to Wildflower Orthodontics clinic to get my retainer, it did not fit my teeth, very tight, they made a new mold, so I scheduled the next appointment, to get a retainer. On the next appointment, the retainer was still very tight, I could barely put it on, but to take it off is a huge problem. I have experience with retainers and I have never had a problem like this. I had a very unpleasant talk with the clinic representative, she told me to give the retainer a chance. And I gave it a chance. After a week of using that retainer, on Saturday morning when I took the retainer off my lower bonded retainer broke off. So I paid for the retainer that doesn't fit me plus for the Repair of Current Bonded Retainer and plus for the new retainer, I got into another clinic.
Don't save money on retainers and don't pay before you get a product ( be sure it fits you), you will never get your money back!
