All of these one star reviews are exactly correct. These inconsiderate aholes jolted me awake at 7 50 to tell me they were canceling my 9 am because they didn't have a credit card on file, WHICH THEY TOOK OVER THE PHONE WHEN I BOOKED THE APPOINTMENT. People with insomnia, anxiety, depression etc. shouldn't be abused this way. Here we are doing our best to find support and take care of our mental health only to be met with a slap in the face over and over.

Impossible, literally, to get them to upload documentation to your insurance in order for a prior authorization to go through. You can call every day for a month, you can write emails, you can speak to your privider.....none of it will work. They only submit documentation if you go on a 3 way phone call with the insurance. This is really terrible.

Find another company it's sad that none of the therapists kept their appointments. I've been through 9 therapist trying to find one . Because they don't show up to your sessions wow. If you're having a hard time seeing your therapis after two sessions find someone else. Or just leave this company mental health is to important to be running around trying to find a therapist!

By far the worst experience I have ever had, and to think they actually are suppose to alleviate the anxiety.
My appt was cancelled without me knowing. Did not call or even send me an email to let me know. I was waiting for 20 min before I had to call and ask what happened.

I want to put zero stars. I made an appointment for my son and completed all the paperwork. The EVENING before the appointment, someone from their office calls me and tells me they are calling about the paperwork. I advised them I had completed all the paperwork for the appointment in the morning. The representative for the company then advises me they need a credit card on file before the appointment. I advise I will not be adding a credit card on file at this time. She then tells me that I have until the end of the business day to add a credit card on file or the appointment would be canceled. Therefore, it was my understanding that the appointment was cancelled. I then a receive a bill for $150 with no explanation. I contact them online and am advised it is due to no show for an appointment. I explain what happened and that they canceled the appointment and I should not be charged when they canceled the appointment. I was advised I still have to pay the $150. Do not deal with this company. This company appears to be very shady and have illegal dealings.

Zero stars. The staff is rude, condescending and disrespectful. Their billing and scheduling practices are deceitful. I have never dealt with a mental health provider that actually made me feel worse about myself. I was having a mental health crisis and the staff at LifeStance Made me want to commit suicide. I told the lady this and she went, "humph" with a snort. So not only was I on the verge of suicide, the lady seem to encourage me to do it. Mental health issues are serious and require a competent provider. You will not find that here. I can vouch for other negative reviews. I have had those exact, same experiences, rude staff, deceptive billing, impossible hoops to jump through for scheduling. This place is a scam meant to prey on a vulnerable population for money.

I have been seeing my psychiatrist for almost a year. I was needing a letter from her regarding my emotional support animal. They said they do not do those and to buy one online which I did, and it was denied by my apartment's lawyers. I needed a letter from my actual Dr who was prescribing my meds. I was informed to find another provider with another group and establish with them if I want a note. They offered no guidance, support nor advocated for me. I have never heard of any psychiatrist unable to provide a note for such thing. They have added to my mental, emotional and financial stress. I have spent a lot of money in this clinic to not be able to get a simple note from my provider who I have been working with for a year. My provider was also unknowledgeable regarding my Adderall regimens and my medication has made my ADD worse than it was before starting. Sometimes I would go weeks without my meds due to them not refilling them or taking days to respond to messages. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER OFFICE for your psychiatry needs. They do not advocate for their patients and leave you SOL with just the advice to find another office that would better fit my needs.

I never write reviews but I am extremely upset. I was notified I had an appointment the Monday after Thanksgiving. Aware of the 48-hour cancellation notice, I tried to call to cancel my appointment. LifeStance was not open Thursday or Friday and there is no option on their portal to cancel.. probably because they would like to be able to charge their patients the $75 fee as often as possible. I was told I would have had to cancel my appointment on Wednesday before Thanksgiving in order to not be charged this fee which seems outrageous to me. I would have had to know 6 days before my appointment I could not make it in order to not be penalized. I will not be returning to LifeStance.
