Update 2018: working as a Wine Ambassador for First Crush. The owners are great people, but it seems they are nolonger paying their ambassadors the standard pay rate of $20 dollars an hour like the rest of the wine/beer industry is. There are some but very few jobs on their company portal that are still paying the standard but the majority of jobs that used to get $20 are now $10.00- $15.00. For that reason ambassadors are leaving F.C. Its sad to see this happening when the rest of the wine/beer/ promotional industry has increase their hourly pay rate to $25. or $35.00 depending on the type of spirit or wine. They other issued with F.C is that Jake is no longer their Operation Manager when he was their the office ran smoothly. A new staff is running it and every time this happens it effects everyone thats been with them since the beginning. Being with them for years as an ambassador, I have to reintroduce myself to the new person who awards jobs because she has no clue who has experience selling. Jobs are being award to anyone that bids first on them. I don't think this method is working which is probably why they are loosing sales. In my opinion jobs should be base on sales. They are not keeping track who is doing the most sales and as a result this is why they are loosing loyal ambassadors to other promotional companies that look into who is doing tremendous sales for them and awarding us better pay.

I've worked for First Crush of and on off for about 3 years. The owners and staff are very professional and fair as to how they treat there brand ambassadors. Paper work is simple and work is very easy if you like to talk to people.

I have been working with First Crush as an ambassador for over a year and I highly recommend them! They are very professional, organized and their event reporting is streamlined. So much more so, than some of the companies I have worked for. Their turn around time for paying their ambassadors is very good. If you are professional and reliable and truly enjoy interacting with the public, this is the job for you!

I went to a wine tasting in Austin conducted by First Crush Tastings. I would not use First Crush Tastings because they were very unprofessional. I noticed that one of the staff of First Crush Tastings participated in the wine tasting/sampling with a bunch of his rowdy friends. I think he said his name was Jake Bright. The group asked for multiple samples which is not allowed by TABC. I was so intimidated by the loudness and the bad behavior of his group that I did not get to sample any of the wines. I think there are other wine, malt and spirit Companies that distributors can use in The Austin Area like Platinum Promotions or Bar Etc.

If this were true we would have heard directly from the store manager. This does not even come close to sounding like Jake Bright. He is our Operations Manager and this simply does not fit his personality or rapport with us, our retail partners, Ambassador's, and customers. You must be one of the Ambassadors we have discountinued using because you did not meet our standards.

I have been working with First Crush as an ambassador for the last year. This company is great to work for and you can always count on getting paid every other week. They are very professional to work for, responsive to any issues I may have while on the job and they have a great group of employees. You can't go wrong working for this company or planning an event with them.

I've had wonderful experiences with this company, on multiple occasions. There have been First Crush reps in a number of the HEB and Specs stores that I frequent , and each time the rep was friendly, inviting and knowledgeable about the product they were sampling. I highly recommend them :)
