Our Houston Division President, Daniel, coming in 🔥 HOT 🔥 with the pavement knowledge! When it comes to maintenance, it isn't a one size fits all. Don't let someone give you a blanket fix. We can evaluate and educate on what your pavement needs to get the most from its lifespan.
◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️Base Repairs◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️ Ever wondered what is under your pavement surface? Concrete and asphalt pavement designs are different. Here’s how: Asphalt pavement design consists of prepared subgrade, base material (crushed concrete or limestone), and surface course hot mix asphalt if concrete (asphalt). At times, depending on loads, a base course asphalt will be installed prior to the surface course. The goal is to design a pavement system that aligns with the loads that the system will need to handle. Concrete pavement design consists of prepared subgrade and portland cement concrete (PCC) reinforced with adequate steel rebar and tied together with the appropriate dowels to handle loads that the system will be subjected to on a daily basis. In both cases, the longevity of your pavement, and protection of your investment, depends on what is underneath. Here is a short video of some recent base remediation that we did at a retail center on the northeast side of Houston. Ensuring that we get good base material in place, and get it compacted to appropriate densities, allows us to lay a quality surface course that will last (with proper maintenance). If you are going to spend the money, be sure it is done right. If you are having troubles with the first thing customers see when they arrive at your property (your parking lot), give us a call at 713-673-7582. We are happy to help with any pavement maintenance needs. #asphalt #asphaltlife #asphaltrepairs #asphaltmaintenance #baserepair #concrete #concretelife #concreterepair #concretemaintenance #striping #restriping #signage #sealcoat Alpha Paving Industries LLC Pave America
