I found the company to be completey incompetent.

I met with Fred Nwagbo and provided this company all of my IRS information electronically to do my taxes 1.5 months before the IRS deadline. When I met with him, I ask him how long it would take to file my taxes. He said it would be done by next week. However, next week came and went. I called and called but they failed to respond in a timely manner or to get my documents and perform any services. They ultimately failed to file my taxes on-time by the deadline as well. However, despite that, because of their incompetence they now claim that had to file an extension for me.

As a result of me fearing my taxes would be late and that I would be penalized by the IRS, I called the Manager Kemi (who is simply the wife of Fred) at 2:45 on the IRS deadline and told the secretary Nina that I needed to get a call back with 30 mins to resolve this manner and I said that I want a complete resolution by 4pm or I would need to make alternate arrangements. As normally expected for this company, she also failed to return my call.

As a result, I made other arrangements and filed my own IRS Tax extension. Now this terrible company is claiming that I owe them money for their incompetence for filing an "incorrect" IRS extension. They claim they filed an extension which I never asked for. I never agreed to any tax extension fee. I ask them to do my taxes and do them on time--that is all. So to check what Fred was claiming, I asked Fred what tax amount was due which is a critical part of the tax extension form 4868, he said," I don't know. I haven't done your taxes." What? Form 4868 correctly filed requires a "rough guess" of the taxes to ensure no penalties or interest are due immediately so later on when you actually file the taxes, you won't have penalties for non-payment on time. It is critical that rough math be done during the filing of the extension.

Long story short, even on the form he claims he found, it was incorrectly performed. Luckily I had already filed the tax extension myself because of their incompetence and paid the estimated tax due.

You need to avoid them like the plague.

I gave Fred and team a five star rating because of their professionalism, knowledge and honesty. Values that I place on the people and organizations who work with other people's money. I'm very happy with the work they did on my 2017 taxes. I will work with them again in the future.

I am a business owner and decided to go with K&F Tax Services as a representing CPA. I was suppose to meet with Kemi back in October but she she re-scheduled my time to come in because of the rain storms we had here in Austin, and I have been trying to figure out how, where and when to file my quarterly taxes, as well as how to claim deductions. It is now December 13th, months later after I have sent numerous emails to her, I have not heard back from Kemi via phone nor email. She was nice in person the only time we met, but not so great work ethics when it comes to her clientele. I've been recommended from a very successful friend whose a business owner, to an out of state CPA BOSS company and I have never been happier with the service. They do everything for my company. Above & beyond.

BEWARE PLEASE***Do not use this company. After a verbal agreement from the primary female owner, we were blackmailed into providing full payment amounts for IRS and tax filing services. No explanations, she would not reply for days to emails, one of the worst services ever received in my life.
