I'm coming up on 25 years as a resident of Austin, TX. Out of those years I have been fortunate to be working with Dwayne for 20+ of them. Have you ever been down on your luck, seems like NOTHING is going right? Recently my check engine light on my Audi A3 came on, and I needed an Oxygen Sensor Bank One. Dwayne & his team saved me a gob of loot on my car, and I cannot tell you how grateful I am. I trust you implicitly, a rare compliment I only pay to the people I hold in the highest regard. Had my car repaired there last week and the experience beginning to end was absolutely one of the best I have ever received from any auto mechanic!

They went above and beyond to help me work with my budget get me financed and be able to get me a rental while they worked on my car and helped make sure I only got what I needed to continue to extend the life of my vehicle.

Dwayne the owner even took me to the back and showed me how they look at vehicles and what they look for and their process and showed me how to understand the age and the wear and tear of my spark plugs my rotors as well as some of the other mechanics of my vehicle.

Their knowledge of vehicles is unmatched and extensive and by far this allows them to ensure that they are able to adapt to any repair situation where they can under promise and over deliver.

Highly recommend them for your next oil change, tune-up, and repair needs of your vehicle as they are the only ones I know that go this far for their clients!

Horrible service and disgusting attitude . They try to deceive you anyway they can. If you write an honest low rated review, the owner keeps harassing you until you remove it. They are bullies and crooks.

Called to get my Audi Q3 in for a cylinder misfire and the lady on the phone was so kind and honest. She let me know they could get it in the next day but that she believed the issue to be covered under the warranty from the previous shop who did the work. She said she didn't want to charge me for something that would be covered. As a young girl who isn't always treated so nicely from mechanic shops I appreciated this conversation. Will be using them as my shop for any future needs!!!

Found myself in a tough spot with my vehicle and ended up at Genuine Automotive. The team here is so helpful and so understanding of these stressful situations. I wish I could do more than write a review to show my appreciation. I will be returning!

Dwayne and his team did a fantastic job!!

We had a dreaded check engine light (for way too many months) and we knew it was some air sensors, but not which ones exactly and what needed to be done. We also had an oil leak, some worn anti-sway bars, and needed an inspection after they fixed it.

The first shop we went to gave us a quote for $2300, which included replacing the throttle body, mass air flow sensor, and another sensor.

We contacted Dwayne for a second opinion. Dwayne and his team picked up our car, offered a loaner, and got back to us later that day.

The price for each item was competitive, but they still saved me $800 by being good technicians that understand how engines and the sensors work.

Of the three sensors that needed replaced, two of them were downline from the throttle body. The technician suggested we only replace the throttle body and see if the other sensors worked after that. And they did!!

Some auto repair shops just check the computer and repair what it says. Genuine Automotive understands how it all works together and repair what needs to be repaired.
