Cooper Doors

Josh did an absolutely amazing job replacing our 20 year old worn out door. But most importantly Josh wouldn't call the job complete until he knew I was absolutely satisfied. We're well outside Austin proper and I know it was a long drive but Josh made repeated trips until the install met his own high level of standards.

I called this company a couple of months ago because we were planning to replace our front door and two other exterior doors. Josh called me back a few days later and seemed interested in working with us. He said he would call me the following week to schedule a time to visit the house and discuss our project. The next week passed and I didn't hear from him. I called him once a week for the next three weeks and left voicemail messages each time, but I've never received a response of any kind.

People like this give contractors a bad name. If he's too busy, or if NW Austin isn't convenient for him, or whatever the reason is, he should have the courtesy to let me know so I stop wasting my time. We're both adults. Use your words. It takes less than five minutes to return a phone call or send a text. I've since discovered that there are plenty of other local companies with good reviews that offer the same services and are run by professionals who actually return phone calls. I hired one of them.

I contacted him from out of town and he met with me even during these crazy and busy times. Although I've decided to sell instead of renovate, I felt really good about his knowledge on the renovation (swapping a window for a door). I was also pleased he could get a variety of doors, and even gave me some options that hadn't crossed my mind! Highly recommend :)

Josh did an amazing job with the installation of our new front door. He was very professional and did the work in a timely manner. He thoroughly cleaned after the installation, allowing us to enjoy our door from the get go.

Josh is so busy, and I know why. He knows his stuff. We had huge double iron/glass front doors that needed to be installed. By himself, he managed to pull the old ones off, and re-install these humongous doors. He was polite, informative (telling me about his process as he progressed), and placed these doors up, re-installed the original cedar planks, caulked and did the entire clean-up - like a pro, because he is. Josh is super professional, super polite, and gets the job done in a timely manner. It only took him a few hours to put these bad boys in. Beautiful work Josh!

Josh did a great job installing three interior doors for me. He is busy, but worth the wait because he did an excellent job and will reach out to him again for future projects.

Josh was informative and helpful for me to find the right door according to specific measurements at the beginning. He knows this stuff very well. I needed to switch a swinging door to a barn door for extra space and improved style.

They took care of everything. The new door was installed beautifully and the area of the work was completely clean at the end. Very thankful they disposed the old door properly. I would absolutely hire them again for my next project!

We had a great experience working with Josh (owner) from Cooper Doors. They took the time to visit us first to take measurements in order to provide us with an accurate and fair estimate. Cooper Doors was not the cheapest nor the most expensive but they were the most detail oriented. Additionally, they went the extra mile to help us coordinate all the additional work, besides adding french doors, needed transform a formal dinning room into a flex room (e.g. framing and drywall). The additional work needed and installation of the doors was flawless. Overall, Josh was very attentive and honest throughout the process (removing certain item from the invoice since they were not needed). We are a happy customer with an awesome flex room where our kids can play! - Trevino family

We were going to have our front door installed by someone else, only to find out a couple weeks before the installation that they had closed shop. Josh was able to step in and install the front door with short notice, and he did a great job. He cleaned up everything and was very up front about everything. Thank you, Josh!
