Last week’s annual Power of the Purse luncheon turned dreams into reality for so many parents! SWBC was honored to join Women United in raising nearly $300K for childcare scholarships! Over 170 donated purses were auctioned off to fund scholarships to help make quality childcare more affordable for parents pursuing an accreditation or some form of higher education. This means amazing parents like Brittney can become the accountant she dreams of, while her kiddo is happy and safe in childcare—thanks to the SWBC Foundation for underwriting her scholarship!
